Since February 2024, our engineers have started developing as-built documentation for the construction of a new polypropylene production plant. The construction is underway in the suburb of Tobolsk, Tyumen Region. The DGP-2 plant will be part of the “ZapSibNeftekhim” complex.
The new capacities will provide the market with additional volumes of polypropylene, stimulate further growth in polymer processing in Russia, and reduce imports of finished products. The enterprise will be integrated with the existing “ZapSibNeftekhim” complex in Tobolsk, allowing it to utilize the energy and logistics infrastructure of the complex. The project includes the construction of a propane dehydrogenation unit with a capacity of 550 thousand tons per year and a polypropylene production unit with a capacity of 570 thousand tons per year. DGP-2 will use advanced technologies in hydrocarbon processing and logistics, as well as a closed-loop water recycling system and modern dust and gas removal equipment.
