At the beginning of April 2024, our engineers started work at the Olimpiadinsky Mining and Processing Plant. At this stage of construction, we have been entrusted with the preparation and submission of as-built documentation (general construction works, technology, special types).
Olimpiada is one of the largest and, at the same time, one of the most challenging gold deposits in the world in terms of mining and geological conditions. Advanced bioleaching technology BIONORD is used here for extracting precious metal, which is based on the use of special bacteria. Bacterial oxidation units have been created and operate in 12 countries, with about 16 units in total. In Russia, there is only one such unit — at the Olimpiadinsky deposit.
