"ZapSibNeftekhim" is one of the largest petrochemical complexes in the world and a leader in the production of basic polymers in Russia.
The enterprise processes by-products of oil and gas production from Western Siberia, producing various grades of polyethylene and polypropylene that are widely used in industry and everyday life. Annually, the plant processes 8 million tons of hydrocarbons (by-products of oil and gas production), producing 1.5 million tons of polyethylene and 1 million tons of polypropylene.
On August 25, 2023, construction began on a new polypropylene production complex, which will increase the plant’s annual output to 1.5 million tons.
