Since August 2023, our engineers have started work on the "Arctic LNG 2" project, related to the production of liquefied natural gas. In this project, PN StroyInnovatsiya will be engaged in construction supervision.
The resource base of the "Arctic LNG 2" project is the Utrennee field, discovered in 1979 and located on the Gydan Peninsula in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, approximately 70 km from the "Yamal LNG" project on the eastern shore of the Ob Bay.
The project involves the construction of three technological lines for the production of liquefied natural gas, each with a capacity of 6.6 million tons per year. The total capacity of the three lines will be 19.8 million tons of LNG and up to 1.6 million tons of stable gas condensate per year. The project is based on an innovative construction concept using gravity-based structures (GBS).
The application of the construction technology concept based on Gravity-Based Structures (GBS), along with extensive localization of equipment and materials production in Russia, will significantly reduce the capital costs per ton of LNG produced within this project. This will ensure low production costs and maximum competitiveness in all LNG markets. The first production line is planned to be launched this year.
